Dear Shri Parimal Singh Ji
This is in reference with Courts of Maharashtra especially Mumbai & Pune. We wish to bring to your notice that the current Hygiene and Safety is in extremely bad conditions and effect of which from all these is that High Court as well as Sessions Court Judges, Lawyers including the thousands of people who visit the premises are on stake as far as their health conditions is concern.
The hundreds of food operators in and around the premises of above mentioned courts are not under the jurisdiction of FDA as they don’t have Food Licenses as well, no drive is conducted to check the authencity as well as the food they serve, effect of which many people have to lose their lives and has to suffer from deadly diseases due to the food which is being served in the premises of courts.
We recently had meeting at our Pune Secretariat on 16th December 2021 which was well attended by Pune Bar Association Chief Honorable Shri. Satish Mulik Ji & International Legal Alliance Chief and renowned Lawyer of India Honorable Shri. Jamshed Mistry Ji where it was decided jointly to write back to you and request for action on the above mentioned areas of Mumbai & Pune courts and specific benchmark to be set in terms of hygiene & safety from the side of FDA Maharashtra as per the mandate of rules & regulations of FDA which the FBO’S are defaulting.
We also wish to inform you that there has to be regular trainings to all the Food Handler’s who are in and around & in the premises of courts. We are ready to extend the hand for training from ACOHI & Hospitality Industry of India and can work on model which will define benchmark for hygiene & safety around courts above mentioned.
We humbly request you to look into it on high priority and save lives of people who are in service for the highest democratic temple of nation – Our Honorable Courts.
